Meet the Loving RV Life family!
Carol reigns from Sonora, Mexico just South of the Arizona border and is the artistic talent in the family. She has a sharp eye for great photo imagery and is an established painter and graphic artist. She loves to garden and grow plants, vegetables and fruit. She is mostly a homebody, but when on the road, Home is where we park it! So that is one more great excuse to travel more!
I was born and raised in Houston, Texas and am a technical and “do it yourself” type of person that likes to dabble in a little bit of everything. I am an outdoorsman, who enjoys hunting and fishing. I like driving my old farm tractor and experimental aviation. I like doing upgrades and repairs to the RVs and anything else that needs a little improvement or repair. I have loved the outdoors and camping since I was a boy, and look forward to it even more now that I am a little more “Seasoned”. I also enjoy cooking and BBQ and will be happy to share some of my Southern recipes and dishes as well.
Maggie & Zöe
Maggie (black) and Zöe (white/tan) are our 2 Lhasa Apso pups. They are sisters and are full of energy and fun! They are quite the pair while we travel on the road and fit right into the RV lifestyle and travel life. Their favorite things to do are play, sleep on their backs and they love a good family howling session!
Duchess is our 2000 28 foot Trail Harbor Lite Travel Trailer. It is parked at our family property and is our off grid camp located just South of Tyler, Texas. The camp electricity is provided by small generator and modest Solar system and water provided by our first flush rain water collection system. These systems have been successful for us and will be covered in detail under future content in Loving RV Life. Duchess has a super slide-out and was a big upgrade from our previous camper of years ago which was a hard sided Palomino popup camper and really made us feel we were camping in luxury having a real bathroom with a shower.
Sundance & Jack
Sundance is our 2013 37 foot Heartland Sundance 3270RES 5th wheel camper. It was our upgrade from Dutchess once we decided on a little more space for those extended trips. We love the layout and floor plan with it’s king size bed and Residential bath tub and seems to be a perfect fit for our family size and style. It is towed by our 2016 Ford F-250 Crew Cab 4×4 powered by a 6.7L diesel which we affectionately refer to as Jack.
Sundance, Duchess and Jack have all had extensive modifications and upgrades which will be a part of the content of Loving RV Life in the future.
